Rally Highlights Douglas Emmett Water Violations

As has previously reported, members of Operating Engineers, Local 501, rallied at a Douglas Emmett Inc.-sponsored environmental event in Santa Monica, CA, on October 3rd, 2017. That event was the annual gala of an environmental non-profit called Los Angeles Waterkeeper. Local 501’s demonstration highlighted water violations at Douglas Emmett-owned properties as well as the financial relationship between Douglas Emmett Inc. and Los Angeles Waterkeeper.
